While participating in the 2015 'Mongolia Charity Rally', I documented the story of Mariyam, a young Mongolian girl who had suffered severe burns to both hands in a household accident. Between 2015 and 2017, my team and I committed to helping her by organizing a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of her surgery in Italy. In May 2017, having successfully raised the necessary funds, Mariam underwent a life-changing operation at Udine's 'Santa Maria della Misericordia' hospital.
Two months later, she returned to Mongolia to continue her recovery.
